Announcing a major improvement in the email notification sent to recipients by the users of itsCredible – your digital badging and credentialing platform. Prometheus School, one of our clients, encountered an email data privacy issue when the teachers discovered that while bulk notifying parents about their ward’s new document upload on credulocker, the bulk email was sent individually, but the other parents’ email addresses were visible in the “To” section of the email. They were concerned because they did not want the bulk email addresses to be shared with parents.
Because of this privacy concern, the users (teachers) delayed informing the parents about the new document’s upload. To address this major issue, we resolved it by allowing Prometheus (and any other users) to successfully bulk notify their recipients (parents in this case) under the bcc category, where bulk email addresses are not visible, and sending emails individually only under the “To” section, thereby eliminating the privacy concern.
We believe that this improvement will be a valuable addition to our platform, and hope that it will help our customers to more easily and effectively manage their badging and credentialing efforts. Thank you for your continued support. We value your feedback and are always looking for ways to improve our platform to better meet your needs.
Stay tuned for more updates!
