Announcing a significant update on Itscredible – upgraded backend storage system from IPFS servers to
Amazon S3 servers. The users and their recipients (the person to whom the document has
been issued) typically use mobile phones to access documents issued through our platform,
and accessing the document takes 3 to 5 seconds in poor network connections. With the
release of this update, now users and their recipients will no longer have to wait even for few
seconds to open their document; it will now be as quick as a blink of an eye.
Previously, as stated above, our users and recipients found it inconvenient to have to wait for
seconds while accessing their documents. This was not the kind of experience we wanted our
users and recipients to have while using the platform. We are happy to say that the documents
will now open quickly from the preview document option sent by the issuer’s notification email or
by opening the documents via credulocker by the recipients.
This is only possible because we upgraded our backend storage system from IPFS servers to
Amazon S3 servers, resulting in faster and more seamless use of our portal and digital vault
(credulocker). To put it simply, it is same as replacing your PC’s HDD drive with SSD drive.
We believe that this significant upgrade will be a valuable addition to our digital badging and credentialing platform and it will assist our users in providing a flawless experience to their recipients.
Stay tuned for more updates!
